How To: Save your Wrapping Paper

I’ve decided to take some small steps with my garbage to help reduce what we use here at home and thought what a great way to start up a bit of a blog meme here at Sustainable Beginnings as well as some fun project ideas.

The idea behind my Un-Wasteful Wednesdays is to take something I would normally throw away and turn it into a useful project idea. Perhaps by doing so not only will I be able to save on the waste I create but I will also be able to use the items and save money by making what I need instead of just buying it.

I actually decided to do this while putting away my Christmas supplies. I have a ton of rolls of wrapping paper, and a lot of it became tattered and torn from last years storage. I decided I needed a new way to save my wrapping paper for next year. Google did the rest and I was able to wrangle what I needed out of my cardboard bin.
